New Member Introduction - Kevin Teoh

Little Green Corner would like to take this opportunity to welcome our 5th member, Kevin Teoh. Kevin stays in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and is a seasoned aquascaping. He is also an active committee memeber of the Malaysian Aquascaping Club (MAC).

We decided to throw Kevin a small BBQ party in Johor Bahru. It is nice to meet in Johor Bahru as it is a more centralise location for us. It is more convenient for Kevin to travel south from Kuala Lumpur whereas Robert and I travel north from Singapore.

We started off our day by offering some help to a local aquarium shop. It is always good to wet our hands and burn some calories before we start eating.

It is a lazy saturday and we are not ready to start work. Haha!

Yeo say we are late already.Let's start. We still have to do some shopping later.

Pretty decent from far.It look like Malaysia has 2 potential scape for IAPLC 2011.

Time to shop for some stuff. Supermarket in Johor is the same everywhere. Nothing interesting to see. We got all our stuff in 15 mins or so. Let's head for Sim's house! It is party time!

Before we start our BBQ, Sim appear in a black polo t-shirt! Where did Sim get this t-shirt! We realise Yeo has designed our own Little Green Corner t-shirt. This is really pleasant surprise and we like it a lot.

Now it is very obvious we are from the same team! Pardon us for the weird pants combination. Perhaps it is worth considering Little Green Corner bermudas or jeans?

Let's try for a smarter pose. Not bad!

Robert wont let us have our party until we help him critic and select the IAPLC 2010 photo. Ok, let Kevin take a look first since he didnt see your tank before. Take your time Kevin, 8 photos to preview. Haha!

Seems like everyone have their own views and preferences. This is a good! Give Robert some things to think about..Haha!

Yeo has decided on his selection. He share some of his views with Robert.

Now it is Sim's turn to give his critics. I have seen his tank many times so I am excuse..Anyway, I can take a look at the actual tank anytime I want to.

Done! Robert is ready for his IAPLC 2010 submission. Kevin signal we are start the BBQ party. Before we do anything, let's change back to something more comfortable. It is going to get hot and sweaty during the party.

The sky is getting very dark. Lucky we manage to start the fire pretty fast. The fire is good enough to start.

The food look sumptious. There are crabs, ribs, chicken wings and all the nice yummy food.

Let's start off with some Otah (Chilli fish paste wrap in banana leaf) and some sausages. Hehe! Feeling very hungry already.

Wow! It is not good. The fire is too intense and the food got burnt.

Let's reduce the intensity before we continue.

Yeo went over to cut some fruit while waiting for the fire to be ready.

Wow! Now it is the time for Chef Sim to perform.

Yeah! Now we have good food already! Yeo is trying to cook us his speciality. Look at those food packed inside the aluminum foil. Secret receipe!

Wow! Yeo, the whole thing is bloated already! Will it burst and explode? Let's stand further away!

Lucky for us, it didn't really explode. It is time to unveil the secret receipe.

Wow! The food looks great! Look hot and yummy!

Hehe! Let's have a nice piece of chocolate cake to end our session.

After a nice BBQ feast, we take some time to relax by admiring Sim's aquascape.

It is a really fun and great day for all of us. On behalf of the team, I wanted to thank everyone for organising this great event!
